- Thiruvalluvar Arts & Science College for Women situated in Soolappuram (Madurai District) Elumalai in Tamilnadu state of India.
- Established in the academic year 2013 – 2014 and it is affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University.
- The college functions from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Staff workload varies from 19 to 22 hrs per week.
- We follow day order system with six hours per day.
- Every semester we conduct 2 internals and once model exam.
- Our college provides lunch and tea for all teaching and non teaching staff members.
- Total number of teaching and non teaching staff member’s strength is 47.
- Total number of UG and PG students strength is 902
- A very good transportation facility is provided. Our college have 3 labs.

A Message from the Principal
We believe that higher education is a powerful tool to build knowledge based society of 21st century. The quality of education is imperative for the country at the threshold of becoming a knowledge power. Besides imparting knowledge, education should trigger the student’s ability to think, visualise and innovate. At this juncture, I am reminded of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s saying,

When thinking emanates, knowledge is fully lit”.
Our College vision and mission of imparting quality education to rural womenfolk and empowering them with academic competency, self-reliance and life oriented skills and moulding them into socially sensitive and globally competent individuals with “Strong souls, strong brains and strong arms” in Gandhiji’s Words.
